Out of the Oceans Depth... by Farphyni Out of the Oceans Depth... by Farphyni
...they came back.
For ages they've watched mankind, looked for a sign;
and finally they saw that humans are changing to the better,
they saw light in their hearts growing.
So they came out of the Oceans Depth,
and with them the oldest magic comes back,
but only the ones, with light in their heart
will receive their old wisedom;
only the ones who believe,
will see the powerful beasts rising;
..but hope dies last,
so one day -hopefully- every human will be ready,
to receive the dragons' gift.

Experimental personal piece; drawn with a biro and opaque white to add some highlights. (I drew most of it during my dad drove me to leipzig - and also back home^^-...so most parts are kind of 'blurred' /:
I'm still not sure if I should like this piece or not D: I see so many things in it I don't like :iconfliptableplz:

About the situation on the drawing:
you can see two Sea-dragons rising from the ocean. The nearer one pulls out a ship, a treasure and an anchor on a chain out of the water. (I think the symbols are clear^^). At the stony coast are three people: a child hand in hand with a grown-up (the child sees the dragons and points at them, but the grown-up doesn't see them and thinks his child is crazy; so he goes along with the child) and another child, sitting on the rock, looking amazed at the dragons. (again I think the symboles are clear^^)
(as you may have recognized...I looove the symbolism of leafless trees and clouds)
well,... just interpret the drawing by yourself.
